Already! Where is the year going? I had a birthday and turned 46 (yes, that is correct). The weather is starting to get better. I had an eye appointment/exam today, eyes are good, no change to my prescription, so I stocked up on contacts for the next year and then some.
Just around the corner. Are you ready? Connie has offered to host the festivities at her house.
Will you be there? What would you like to bring? What time works best for everyone?

What a a lot of fun we had at the Corn Maze on Saturday. I am so glad we went, even though the weather was so unpredictable, as it turned into a classic fall day outdoors! Thanks Seth for organizing it and treating us to such a great family day.
About a month ago, my washer gave me some troubles and flooded the laundry area.
WHAT?! Yep its true, I will be 40 this Friday, September 2nd!! Now all of us Fenner kids are in the 40s window! To ring it in we are having a BIG OL PARTY at our house on Saturday, September 3rd. Festivities begin about 3:00 and go until whenever.
I'm having a wonderful visit with Debbie and Joe. The weather has been perfect. I arrived on Wednesday and on Thursday I went for a nice long walk with Debbie through the neighborhoods around them and then through the parks that are all along this part of Lake Erie.
Mary Jo sent me a picture of my dad. She really likes him and commented on what a cutie he was. I know he looks old here, and he did just turn 89 in March) but he also looks cute to me and I can tell by his almost smile that he is about to say something very clever and funny!
