I am once again struggling with the name now. AVO Portrait Studio has a very nice ring to it and it definitely lets a person know that we do portraits. The name is available in washington state for a business, and the website is available also. My decision I am struggling with now is, if Amanda begins to take photos of landscapes, or animals, architecture, etc. The name wouldn't fit. It leaves us no room for expansion if and when we did decide to expand. AVO Photography, although, not as fun to roll of the tongue, I am thinking may actually be a better way to go. We can then add on any advertising, that we specialize in portraits. I am thinking this may the better way to go, hence allowing us to expand into other areas of picture taking. I have a request search in now for the name AVO Photography in the state of washington via bizfiling.com. Should get a response tomorrow. Time to check domain names. Finished my book and am working on lists and steps to take as we move forward.
