Buttercup is a 2-year old female yellow lab. The kids in the previous home were not taking care of her, so in the previous home were not taking care of her, so she is looking for a new home. She has a lot of energy and enjoys swimming and playing with toys. She does well with male dogs but should not go to a home with female dogs, cats, or fowl. Buttercup has had some home training and knows the commands 'come', 'down', 'shake', 'sit', 'stay', 'high 5', 'dance', and 'whisper'. She is crate-trained and housebroken and will go to the door to let you know she needs to go potty. Buttercup has a case of separation anxiety, so she will need to be crated if left alone in the house. She was kept in a fenced in yard when outside, but she needs supervision or a taller fence (she can jump a 4 footer!). Buttercup is timid of strangers and due to her high energy and mouthiness, she will need to go to a home with CHILDREN OLDER THAN 10.
