LYNETTE & MARK,
2012-01-19–thur– The day after it snows it looks pretty sloppy out. Our state government is closed for today. Hope nobody needs anything. Or nothing is needed by somebody. Or everybody is jus’ fine.
I hope we don’t get attacked by snowmen vampires.
Connie and thess have gone to help leah clean the ice and weight off of her patio roof. I’ll see if I can advise remotely from here. Just a sec.
  YOU MISSED A SPOT !!!
  There ...
2012-01-20–fri– THE DAY THAT WASHINGTON GOT IN THE WAY ..
... I-5 going by Oly was closed for awhile – trees, branches and power-lines. Good thing we’re a corner state. Not much we get in the way of. Though you’d think we’d be better dealing with cold weather, snow and such. Must have been awhile. I bet everybody remembers having more snow when they were kids. Snow was probably more fun back then. Now the fun snow is in Europe or our passes.
Back in the day... we only had to slide and roll and throw. And then, it magically got neatened up. (I know I didn’t have to do anything.). I wonder when the fun snow stopped coming here.
Eeek! The snow monster attacked and we joined the 250,000 out of power. We were in the dark (without the internet) from 11:30 to 2:00, but we still survived. Luckily, this computer runs on wood. And I was almost off to the grocery store to buy some when the power came back on.
