Cleveland visit

I'm having a wonderful visit with Debbie and Joe. The weather has been perfect.  I arrived on Wednesday and on Thursday I went for a nice long walk with Debbie through the neighborhoods around them and then through the parks that are all along this part of Lake Erie. The lake is only about 6 blocks from their house and it Is huge. The other side is about 50 miles away and in Canada.  Went out for Indian food on Thursday night. Friday we went to Akron to visit an estate built by the founder of Goodyear Tire and Rubber, F.A. Seiberling. The estate is called Stan Hywet ( Old English for stone quarry). The gardens cover 70 acres and the house is 64,000 sq. ft. With 65 rooms, 23 fireplaces and 23 bathrooms! It's all furnished with all of the original furniture and is really impressive!

Today, Saturday, we went in to Cleveland to visit the Cleveland Art Museum, that is also a beautiful building with an impressive collection of impressionists and modern art and South American statuary- it was a wonderful experience. We had lunch at a vegetarian cafe called The Root and are now home relaxing and waiting for some rain and or thunder storms to develop. It's still very warm out, probably 77 or so, I'm guessing.

Here's a few pictures of us, all my other pics are on the camera. ( the pics may be upside down and I don't know how to fix that)
