Wow! What a couple of beautiful days we have had up here :) Sunny and warm. I got more seeds into the garden and a friend brought a plum tree that we planted. The day was perfect for a short bike ride along the bay.
The kale we planted last fall is still going strong. It is starting to blossom, which is a very tasty part of the plant. I've been snipping off the new growths and eating them raw or lightly steamed. They are deliciously tender/tasty.
Jody is coming up to visit next week while she takes a workshop in Bellingham then I am headed to Roslyn for a couple of days. I'm taking greyhound to seattle to meet Cathy and then taking it back from Ellensburg. Fairly inexpensive and convenient.
The rez is the rez. The birds are singing more, especially the last few days when the sun has been out all day. A flicker hung out and banged on someone's chimney.
