Gooseberry point in February

It has turned a little cold the last few days.

I managed to spend some time working 0n the garden beds last week. I've expanded it this year and also made raised beds, which meant a lot of shoveling. The great thing about it though is that the plants will be easier to manage. I like doing a little at a time, slowly. I am not one of those serious gardeners with a calendar and fertilizers and lists, but I do like to hack away at it and let the plants do most of the work later on.
