We left Beauvoir at a reasonable time (read that as I can't remember but it was morning). We started on roads and continued on them following the neon green signs. Someone before us, probably leading a group, had been painting directions on the road with bright green paint. Although we were following a Velo route along the coast sometimes the signage was out of sight or down a road we didn't know we had to turn into. The spray paint directions saved us hours of meandering and backtracking and Google mapping. In the future I woul recommend getting region maps to see the tiny roads an choose the ones that go through in the right direction.
The route winds through some very beautiful country. Horses in pasture, flocks of sheep herded from pasture to pasture, cows and gardens. Colorful gardens of hydrangeas, roses, cherry and plum trees, apricots everywhere(like we have the Italian plums).
