Well, the day has arrived...
Connie, Thess, Doug, and I are headed off to France today. Connie and I are going for two weeks; we'll walk around eat some food, visit some museums, buy some gifts, you know, the usual... Thess and Doug are going for a bit longer, two and a half months or so; they'll spend the first two weeks visiting with us and Doug's friends and family in Paris, and then they are off to bike around the country. Quite an adventure for them.
The aeroporter picks us up around 9:00am this morning and we'll meet Thess and Doug at the airport. Our flight leaves around 1:00pm and we'll get there sometime tomorrow (it will be around 2:00am in Olympia, so we probably won't text any of you right away).
I am taking my phone and have an international plan on it, so you can get in touch with me when you need to. Connie is taking her phone, as well, but it has limited capabilities and we're not sure how it will work in foreign lands... so, you can text me and I can pass on any messages you need to get to her.
We'll be back in Olympia the evening of Monday May. 21.
Becky is taking care of my house and cats and our friend Crystal and Connie's lodger David are taking turns taking care of her house and cats.
We really need to get together for a family gathering, with food and games and family fun when we get back. We are planning a birthday gathering for Gabriel and Kira on Saturday June 10, if Jack and Luke are with the family that weekend, we should add Luke's birthday celebration in to that mix.
Love you all very much!
See you soon.
